My home state.
Thank you guys, not a lot of you tubers go there, in my opinion is highly underrated.

It is the place where the independence movement was born, the Purépecha people were never conquer by the Aztecs and in a way they were also were never completely conquer by the Spaniards (until the religion kind of did the trick, but there are a lot of places where Purépecha is spoken by everyone and they still have a lot of their traditions).

The most famous place for day of the death in the country is in Michoacán.

And also, the whole Mexican food been a cultural heritage of humanity it really is the food from Michoacan that got the recognition (not everyone knows this).

Another good video I really like this place you visited today. The volcano area was crazy really would not have known that there was any kind of village there that’s amazing. I love how you and your wife always give us some kind of background

You need to go to Pátzcuaro and try the nieve de pasta.

Also go to Tzintzuntzan, they have an archeological zone and lots of pottery. And Santa Clara del Cobre to see the copper crafts.

Hello! Thanks for the video. At about 2:24, you reference the name of an "egg nog" like beverage that is popular in Morelia but I can't make it out. Will you please share the name of this drink? Husband and I may visit Morelia and pick up a bottle while there. Thanks.

Never knew about the town buried in volcanic ash. I lived in Morelia for 11 years and never knew. Nice video. Thank you

Just look at how old the architecture is in the candy shop. It's a walk to the past.

When you come from a country where daily mass shootings take place, but talk about the violence in the country you're visiting! "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?"  Matthew 7:3
