it was hinted via Ians Twitter as he wanted sticks added in a post event where it was revealed he wanted her pop up hiding on angel island. however sega nixed it, but for them to add her in frontier dialogue and her profile was on Tails channel.

I'm a big fan of Sticks it's my favorite female character in the Sonic universe. Ian Flyn was involved in the development of Sonic Frontiers and he is also a scriptwriter for the idw sonic comics, he has long expressed an interest in including it in the Franchise canon, he eventually succeeded in some way.

PS the other characters I would love to see in the Sonic Modern franchise canon are Shade the Echidna (from the game "Sonic Chronicles"), and Sonia and Manik The Hedgehog from the animated series "Sonic Underground".

Frontiers decided to "bring" over a lot of characters. I love this fact.

This means we can get fresh interactions of characters we never thought were possible. Which would add a lot to the games.

For example Sticks and Tangle. Two characters I thought would get along well together could potentially happen because of Frontiers.

And since IDW characters are being mentioned Whisper could also be added. Which I hope they do.

Those 3 would add diversity in personality to the group which would always be great to see in future games.

I hope the team that made Frontiers stay and continue working on future sonic games.
