Wow, back to back Spongebob videos! This time though, we're checking Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated LOST BITS! The game just recently came out as of the making of this video, but already several bits of unused content have been discovered!

It’d be cool if there were two different modes for the game.
Classic Mode: The original story
Rehydrated Mode: Includes unused story bits/maps/boss fights

I feel this HAD to be the result of rushed development, given how they promised all this unused content to be reincorperated and it still goes unused but at least still referenced in say the multiplayer mode shows they had to have been pressed for time without a doubt

I hope the unused Robo Spongebob fight and Patrick’s Dream return as DLC or something

It’s so disappointing that they decided to re-scrap all of the scrapped content, and just put it to the multiplayer modes. I would love to play the unused bosses (Robo Squidward and Musclebob) I would also love to play the unused Patrick’s dream stage. I wish they just kept it in instead of making them small islands in the multiplayer modes.

Its so odd that they went to all the trouble to model all of this unused content from the first one, just for them to omit it once again. I'm hoping for DLC or something.

2:10 The default ash-grey-checkered textured thing is used in Unreal Engine when an object doesn't have a texture placed onto it yet.

1:44 seeing the same thing twice like that makes me think it's some sort of inside joke by the devs and not an accident

Also the Barnacle Boy being the object the player talks to is probably just there so the devs didn't have to make a new NPC and just re-used one that already existed

Considering we have the pieces for the scraped contents already In the game on PC if it isn't at all added back in officially modders will try and find a way to do it anyway.

5:18 Plankton is probably there because you can interact with the TV, similar to Barnacle Boy in the Mermalair Computer

The unused objects/levels appear in those places because they imported the old levels to the new engine. They forgot to remove those objects/levels in particular but removed the others because they were way more obvious. That's why some unused content from the original game is also seen in the remake, and why others aren't.

I love how whenever I watch something about Spongebob, the ad is always for Rehydrated, I've been so excited for this game

I found a lot of original models still in the files for this game, such as original Strongarm Robospongebob, original Robo Plankton, and original King Neptune, I'm assuming they used the original files to model over as reference and left some pieces from the original game as Easter Eggs for players of the original to still find and enjoy

Poor patrick.

Doesn't have a Semi boss.
Had 2 things that had to do with him being scrapped.
His robot version explodes meanwhile the other 2 just get turned off

I was actually so hyped that the box said that they used cut content.
Ofcourse I was most excited for Patrick's dream world and Robo Squidward. I also thought they would've implemented an option in the menu where you could switch to the unused thunder and love tikis. Unfortunately nothing of that happened.

They should add the boss fights and Patrick's dream as a "hard mode" of sorts where it just adds them where they were originally intended, instead of leaving them as scraps in the multiplayer
