I don’t like this review. It is almost like criticizing Banjo-Kazooie due to being way too kid friendly. This game is supposed to be faithful to the original. What do you expect it to be: Grand Theft SpongeBob

Edit: Thank you all so much for the likes since I really didn’t expect to get this many. But I had played SpongeBob BFBB Rehydrated on my switch and so far; I’m like half way done through the game and I actually have a fun time with this game. There can be some challenges in the game but for the person who grew up playing the original on the PS2, this game is like a one big nostalgic memory lane; from the music to the levels. But if I have to get some criticism, it might be the gameplay. Not that it is bad, it plays fine; but since I’m playing on the switch, it can have some problems. The game will kind of lag in some areas; most notably the hub world and the game has pretty bad loading times. But to me, they don’t really severely hurt the gameplay, it just happens from time to time and I am starting to get used to it. Also, I did not try the multiplayer mode yet, but I will try to play it when I get the chance. So in conclusion, SpongeBob BFBB Rehydrated is a fun game to relieve your childhood where it can have some problems here and there, but with the bright visuals and faithfulness to the original game still makes it a lot of fun for people big and small. As for my recommendation, I catered this to more of the SpongeBob fans like me and those who love the original game. Even those who had not played the original game would have fun with this all the same. As for my rating, I’ll give this a 8/10 as a gamer and a SpongeBob fan. Thank you Purple Lamp to give us the game worth waiting for

As someone who is playing it right now, this game is a perfect remake and plays amazingly. Dont let this review persuade you not to buy it because it delivers on every aspect of what made it fun to play in 2003
