I was trained by a santioned fighter, from The Box. 5 months, live in training. I had wrestled, since i was 5. In that 5 months, i learned more than in the rest of my life.

I met Bas in Malta in 1995 when I was working the door at a club in Paceville. The guy I was working with was into martial arts and knew who he was, I had no idea, even so he still chatted with us for a few minutes and signed autographs, showed us the dents in his forearms from hammering nails into bits of wood. A really nice guy, that you really wouldn’t want to mess with.
