Have you heard of Prince Hemiunu? The treasure of Queen Hetepheres? The fourth pyramid of Giza? Do you know what they have in common? If you said they are all buried in tombs on the Giza plateau, you would be correct. All three of these people, as well as 6000 others, are buried at the site of Giza, alongside the remains of a harbour, quarries, towns, and temples. We all know about the pyramids and the Sphinx, now take some time to explore the rest of the exciting history of Ancient Egypt’s most well known city of the dead. Watch this video to learn more about EVERYTHING ELSE that has been found at one of the world’s most extensively excavated sites.
