NEW KAWAKI (KARMA PROGRESSION) SLAYS ALL ONLINE!! - Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections

Finally Kawaki/Kawashiki (Karma Progression) makes his entry in the Storm series through the release of DLC Pack 4!!! CyberConnect2 (CC2) definitely nailed it with him (design wise and visuals) and I am joining my time with him. He is such a great character to play with and his unique abilities make him even more fun! He got a unique grab that can hit your opponents full-screen and can easily confirm a combo off of it like Isshiki. Furthermore, his combo damage and neutral are both amazing and can be seen as very strong tools. I am absolutely in love with this character and I can’t wait to discover more with him in the coming days! Hope you guys will enjoy this one and happy DLC Pack 4 release day!

Kawaki has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu allows him to use the Sukunabikona in two ways! The first way you can use it is just by pressing the jutsu 1 combination. This causes Kawaki to slam the ground which in return spawn metal rods out of the ground. On hit it causes the opponent to be in an airborne state and you can easily ninja dash to continue your combo after this.

The second way causes Kawaki to teleport in the air near his opponent and rain down these same rods. You do this by holding down the action button during the jutsu 1 combination. This tool can be used as an amazing combo extension and I advice you to use it that way too! The right team combination can help create devastating combos, so be sure to come up with those along the way!

His second jutsu is a fireball that has the properties as the one Isshiki uses. You can’t follow-up anything after hits because it causes the opponent to be in a knocked down state. It does however cause massive damage on hit, so be sure to not get hit by it since it takes away 25%-30% of your health…

Overall, Kawaki (Karma Progression) is an amazing character and I highly recommend everyone to try him out for themselves!

At first I was worried about Kawaki’s grab but after playing against him so many times I don’t really mind it. There hasn’t been a flop DLC character and I hope this trend continues.
