Pat Metheny Solo Transcription on 'Goodbye'

Hello All!
For transcription #23, I thought I would do something a bit different and post an old favorite guitar solo I transcribed back in my Uni days. I have been a huge Pat Metheny fan ever since high school and have been fortunate to hear him live in a few different line ups. Truly an inspirational composer and soloist that has influenced my own style greatly. His solo on this live version of Goodbye from the Travels album is a fantastic example of Pat's groovy lyricism. I love how he plays around with the time feel, laying back and swinging lines over a straight eighth note background. A well crafted shape to this solo as well that really builds to a climax before expertly tapering off and leading back to the melody. 10 points for sure... ;)
