Mark Driscoll Elijah Chooses Faith Over Fear. Elijah is fearless. Fear is when you look into the future and you believe Satan is going to act. Faith is when you look into the future and you trust God is going to act. The difference between fear and faith is who you think will show up and act. God has not given us a spirit of fear. The spirit of fear is a demonic spirit that causes us to believe that God is not in tomorrow but Satan Is. A Mark Driscoll Sermon Clip. From the Mark Driscoll Elijah Series

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

😎Personal Experiences
My earliest memories as a child are seeing the gifts of the spirit in operation
As a child my parents took us to a small storefront African American church which eventually became the largest church in NYC Christian Cultural Center Led By Pastor AR Bernard
My Youth Group called Youth Explosion lead by Adam Durso went from 5 kids to being on the the most recognized youth ministries in the country
Helped Plant a church with a few people which is now one of the fastest growing church in America

😁Testimony
Was a Youth & College Pastor, Helping Church Plant in NYC, and Seminary Student. Walked away from the Faith from 2012-2015 because of personal and family crisis. I felt the lord abandoned me and started drinking alcohol heavily. I became bitter, angry, and violent so my life came crashing down. In 2015 while in rehab i rededicated my life to the Lord and was set free and healed from many issues. Spent 2015-2019 in counseling, inner healing and deliverance to heal from everything id been through . After healing for several years the lord released me into ministry again in the local church leading several ministries. He then spoke to me about starting a youth tube channel!

Why is it so easy to get caught up in fear instead of acting in faith? ⚡🎙️🔥

*This man says to fear Satan, and not fear God.* Let's see if he is right. Job trusted God. Then God sent Satan to him to destroy him, kill his children, and rob him of his possessions.

Yes, trust in God, have faith, for the day comes when God will send Satan to destroy you.

"The fear of the lord (not Satan) is the hate of evil." Pr 8:13

Yes, God (not Satan) instills fear and wants us to fear him.

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him (God) who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Mat 10:28

"And His mercy is on those who fear Him (God) From generation to generation." Luke1:50

"But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him (God) who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!" (God) Luke 12:5.

Sounds like fearing God is the way to go, where fearing Satan is not.

Elijah was not fearless he ran from Jezebel.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah saying so let the gods do to me and more also if I make not your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow 3 then he was AFRAID and arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba of Judah and left his servant there. Elijah had fear but he feared the Lord more. I once thought Jonah was afraid to go to Nineveh but he wasn't he was very brave considering but he wasn't very forgiving and did not like those people and although I don't like that about Jonah I still love him and his courage
