Fear Not - Psalm 56:4

Psalm 56:4 and says,

"In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust and have no fear. What can mere mortals do to me?"

In this verse, the psalmist expresses his confidence and security in God, making it clear that his faith is based on the Word of God, which he praises. The psalmist states that with God by his side, he need not fear men or what they may try to do against him. The expression "mere mortals" emphasizes that human power is limited and fleeting, especially when compared to the protection and fidelity of God.

By trusting in God and His word, the psalmist finds courage and peace to face any opposition or threat. He understands that, as long as he remains in God, he is safe, and this security gives him freedom from fear.

Psalm 56:4 encourages us to put our trust in God and His word, knowing that He is faithful and worthy of our trust.
