A St. Louis City official says taxpayers are not getting their money’s worth from the Cure Violence anti-crime program. Alderwoman Pam Boyd (Ward 27) represents parts of Walnut Park, one of the city’s most violent areas.

Here's an idea. How about the fathers of these kids stick around and actually raise and discipline their children?

Cure Violence has never succeeded in it's stated goals. Not in any city. Now we may remember that Lewis Reed was it's biggest supporters when Cure Violence made a play for St. Louis. Look where he is today. Wonder how much of the $7 million he has stashed away?
