Toddler Sees Mother Clearly For the First Time With New Glasses 🥺

This toddler is getting to see his mom clearly for the first time in his life, thanks to some new glasses.

Magen Luster’s 16-month-old son Keaton has lived with vision problems since birth. ‘Ever since he was born, we noticed that he would go cross-eyed,’ the Sugar Land, TX, resident told Storyful. ‘Around his check up at 15 months, we noticed that his eyes still were not able to focus … His world was completely blurry.’

Luster took Keaton to the Texas Eye Institute, where he was fitted with prescription glasses for the first time on March 8. Heartwarming footage of his reaction to the glasses was posted to TikTok, where it has 21.8M+ views as of March 13.

‘Hopefully soon he will be walking and getting to explore the world more clearly,’ Luster said.

Got my first pair of glasses as 2nd grade began because 1st grade teacher saw that I was squinting. On the drive home a bird swooped down in front of the car (birds do that all the time but it was the first time I had seen it) "What was THAT?!" I exclaimed... "That was a bird. You know what a bird is don't you?!" "Oh, yeah. Of course!"

I knew "bird" from the alphabet primer; A is for Apple 🍎, B is for Bird 🐦... but I had never SEEN one, because, of course, if I walked toward a birds in the yard, they would fly away long before I was close enough to SEE them...

So yeah, glasses are a big deal and kudos to this mother for figuring out that her child had normal needs.
