Extra tip: the name of the font in Davinci (or any other program you use including photoshop, MS Word or any) is exactly the same as the name of the file you're d-dropping into your fonts menu. So if you want, you can rename your files to your desire for your own comfort! For example, I've a bunch of fonts for previews specifically so they're all called "Preview_Name" and my editing fonts are "Edit_Name". Makes it really quick to search in any menu

I JUST put The Terminator font into my computer, and I was thrilled to see it was in DaVinci automatically. Now I want to download some more fun stuff! If I run into trouble, I know where to come for a quick tip. Rock on Daniel!

Here's one tip to manage your fonts in Windows: installing a ton of fonts takes up a crapload of system resources (unless that's changed in recent Windows history). A good solution to both NOT taking up a ton of resources and also not being overwhelmed with pages and pages of fonts to choose from is to use a font manager - I use FontBase, free to use. Using FontBase, you can make fonts available and unavailable on the fly. I keep different styles organized in folders so I can activate one or more groups of them as I need depending on the project I'm working on. A folder for script fonts, one for Halloweeny fonts, one for thick fonts, etc. Makes things much less tedious once you figure out a system that works for you.

Well that's super cool! I had no idea it was just pulling the fonts I had off my computer. Also I didn't know any other places to get fonts.

To be honest I didn't look for this video and I didn't think about this but it's a very useful video. I already know at least a few fonts to download. Also I like how your desktop looks, nice and minimalist almost like mine. I sometimes use Malwarebytes too. Thank you for the video, useful as always!

A little tip. You dont need to extract and also if you double click the OTF file then click install its much quicker 👌

Far easier to simply double-click on the TTF or OTF font and it will auto install into Windows

Ironically, I googled this just a few days ago! Also, once unzipped just right-click and 'Install'

Hey Daniel, I've just gotten this idea that stems from a video I watched (Here's How I Created THIS Effect... by Motion Array Tutorials). The video was made in After Effects (I'm pretty sure?) and I'm struggling with recreating it in the Davinci Resolve free version in order to change it and make it work for my video.

I'd love to see your approach on this, or any 3D transition for that matter! I think my biggest struggle is the creativity to get around the 3D limitations with the free version of Davinci Resolve!

My issue is that my company’s main font; Adobe Garamond, is baked inside Adobe. Not sure what my work around is?
