I'm almost 70 now and I remember the first shots of the moon on our old black and white TV with rabbit ears! These photos of another planet are so Crystal Clear! And with no atmosphere, it's looked identical for millions of years! I want to live another lifetime and see where we go!!

I'm 69. Closely followed Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions as a young boy and teenager with the crescendo being the Apollo 11 moon landing. So mysterious and very exciting. My mind ran wild with thoughts of going to Mars and beyond now that we had become a space faring people but we stymied ourselves as a human race by creating chaos here on earth. And so here we are again making great strides in technology and space exploration but again creating chaos here on earth. Will we accomplish our lofty space exploration goals or will we as imperfect humans stymie ourselves again.

Space has always had our harts. In our 70's, this is as close as we may get to a hike on Mars. Thank you.

I still can't get over how cool it is to actually be looking at Mars. It's incredible. It's a beautiful but incredibly desolate terrestrial planet.

It certainly looks like a typical sedimentary sequence commonly found on earth. I have to keep reminding myself of non unique solutions. It could be water laid sediments or volcanic air deposited bedding.

Reminds me of my home in central Australia, there are places devoid of vegetation, just sand and rocks. These images from the Rovers are absolutely amazing!

I hope I live long enough to see more amazing images from future space missions, pity so much money and resources are spent on wars instead of science. I remember the Viking missions to Mars and the Voyager 1 and 2 missions and was just old enough to witness some of the Apollo moon landings on an old black and white monitor at school. Shame the television news is not interested in showing this content, they rather talk about gender nonsense and someone getting offended about pronouns misuse!

It would be nice to see a clear close up picture of that statue next to the batmobile
