The Ford Focus RS is one of the most eagerly anticipated cars of 2016. With its £29,995 price tag, 345bhp, four-wheel-drive and Drift mode this is one of the best real-world performance cars money can buy. Henry Catchpole explains why.

I really like turbo'd awd cars that can be daily driven. That's why I've fallen in love with the Evo x, wrx (sti), and focus rs. Nothing beats being able to drive in the snow, have track days, 4 doors and being able to go shopping with a single car.

After reading some of the comments left here I am left feeling that some have no interest in cars instead just want to advertise their misery and disgust. The design and engineering that goes into these machines is immense and I for one can fully appreciate what Ford have created here

Finally a Focus worthy of its hype! I liked the previous 5cyl RS but it still fell away right at the ragged edge. It looks like the four-wheel-drive and lighter engine over the front axle has really paid dividends.
