I am so grateful to know God has spoke to us His children from Adam all the way to me today! I am so grateful He came to earth to suffer, bleed, and die for me. But I am even more grateful and happy to know He resurrected on the third day and lives today. Because He lives today I get to communicate with Him daily and learn His will for me. I have been talking and developing a relationship with Him since I was fifteen years old. He truly is the same yesterday, today and forever. I love studying the scriptures and noticing His patterns, how He made covenants with His children then and I get to make covenants with Him today. 😊

Jennifer Lane is one of my hero’s. I remember her from BYU Hawaii and I could feel the spirit of Christ just being in her presence. Her testimony given at the end of part 2 was just what I needed to hear.

Yes. As we should be careful regarding social media as our information source, mainstream sources can be just as deceptive, if not more, and being mainstream, has the power to also be much more destructive.

I think we can learn and apply ideas from any scripture, old or new testament. Yes I need to learn about their culture, nevertheless still lessons for me. Why then would I study the old testament? In my opinion is to receive some knowledge to help me grow in Christ.

I respectfuly request that you use your guest speakers more. I was interested in your podcast when I saw that you were inviting guests on who have amazing backgrounds in history and theology and was hoping for more from them than what your podcast is currently delivering. (I am an active and faithful Ladder Day Saint but have actively disliked, or even despised the Old Testament and unapolgetically found it to be a large stumbling block to faith in Christ generally.) I was really hoping to hear more insights that only people with advanced degrees and expertise in these subjects could offer. Unfortunatlely, I feel that much of the podcast is devoted to making sure that every speaker gets to agree on and redundantly pontificate on every point and is using up much of the available time on fluffy junior seminaly class type matererial. Every now and then, things almost get interesting, but then the guest speakers turn is over and they dont get to get past surface level stuff.

I sincererely request that the interiewers ask more contextual questions of the guest speaker, questions that speak to the guests expertise, and then get out of thier way. Or better yet, ask numerous follow up questions to tease out thier knowlege.

I am grateful for the obvious effort that is being used to produce this podcast and do not wish to hurt feelings, but I do wish to express my wish that the historical experts be allowed to do more of the speaking and be able to expound more on thier specific knowlege.

Adam and Eve were the first to make those Covenants with God and to know about our Savior. They preach The Gospel and established a righteous branch of their family through Seth. Enoch and Noah desended from Seth. Enoch & his city were taken into Heaven, other people were also - it seems only those who were not interested in The Gospel were left on Earth at the time of Noah. Noah and his family were Covenant people & were saved in the Arch. So every one is a dependent from Noah and his wife, Adam and Noah have very large posterity. Melcesidic it seems & his city it seems were also taken up into Heaven. I wonder how many times that happened to people and cities? So Abraham stayed on Earth - he and his wife and their family were not starting the world over again, like Noah and their were not taken up into Heaven like Enoch. Abraham and his wife and family stayed on Earth. Abraham kept his Covenants with The Lord and though him all the peoples of the earth are blessed. What an interesting thought.
My Father's parents were among the last converts to be asked to come to America, to Utah - to be with the saints. After that time, converts were asked to stay were they were and stangthen The Church were they lived. Just thought of that - a change of policy? Thank you for this wonderful lesson.

The book of Abraham has never been authenticated as spiritual scripture, Historically or archeologically. In the old testament, many covenants were made, which is no longer needed, because in Romans 12:2 Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. God offered us one solution, God's solution is the cross of Jesus! Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, everyone, to his own way No need to follow the Law anymore. They made their own covenants, ordinances, rituals, rules, instead of turning to Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith, all else follows. Having knowledge of what happened on the Cross is sufficient and we then can share His glory.
