John Watson and Rosalie Rayner (1920) conducted one of the most ethically questionable experiments in the history of psychology. Or so we've been told. Is this story all it's cracked up to be? We look at the reason for the study and how it was actually conducted.

The story of Little Albert breaks my heart. He looked so scared in the video, and Watson (pardon my language) was an ass when he put that mask on. The fact that Little Albert didn't even get to enjoy a full life makes it that much worse. I am glad we have ethical practices today.

They said little Abert died in 2007 never knowing he was in any kind of experiment. I believe they are still doing this to this day..on prisoners and on patients in institutions.
