In this video, we’re going to talk about why silymarin in milk thistle is a powerhouse for the liver.

Silymarin is a group of phytonutrients that makes up 60% of the active components in milk thistle.

Silymarin has been used for thousands of years. Between 40 and 90 AD, this herb was used for snakebites. In the 16th century, it was used for jaundice and gallstones, and in the 19th century, it was used for liver disorders.

Keep in mind that your liver filters out milk thistle very quickly, so repeated doses throughout the day are necessary to experience the most benefits.

What makes silymarin in milk thistle a unique powerhouse for the liver? Take a look.

1. Reduces liver and kidney toxicity

2. Used to help combat alcoholism naturally

After my triple bypass the surgeon said if my heart looked like my liver I wouldn't be here. I took MT for an alcoholics liver. Apparently worked well. It gave me the chance to beat my addiction. 1 year and going strong. Acomposate is working.

Dr Berg is my doctor that my children know once the see his picture. Right from your video that explained referred pain on my right back into my neck, I have had a lot of benefits following your teachings and knowing what lifestyle changes to make, what supplements to buy. God used doctor berg to save my life. I thank God for the age of information and those that put valuable information out there, may we always find help at the right time always. This is one year of following your videos, the cabbage recipe and all. At first my husband laughed that I can't just lose weight (as it doesn't just work out) now he believes so much in my research and tells people about my success story and my doctor. Thank you Dr Berg.

I tried the milk out of a milk thistle when I was younger because I wanted to know what it tasted like. It had a very mild taste, but someone in my family said it was poisonous, so I left it alone after that. Never again! After watching this video; I'm realising, that I need that stuff!
