Knicks didn’t mess up, giving up all your assets for Donovan Mitchell just to be mediocre doesn’t make any sense. They need to keep developing RJ and the young guys and go for another high draft pick

I actually think this is a rare win for the Knicks. Giving up RJ plus other players and picks for Mitchell would have been too much

Knicks absolutely made the correct call bud. Dame was hurt and playing through the injury.

I think Donavan Mitchell would have provided less value to the Knicks then the Cavs, and the Jazz got more immediate and long term value from the Cavs then the Knicks could have offered even with RJ Barrett included. People are a little delusional on this matter.

People are weird about the Knicks. If they actually made that trade, the media would kill them for giving up that much for Donovan Mitchell.

Dame didn’t just get injured this season he’s had a abdominal issue for the past 3-4 seasons. This past season was just when it finally got too much for him. He talked ab it on a podcast

What Utah accepted from Cleveland and what they asked from the Knicks were not equal. Cleveland's picks are less valuable than the Knicks' and the players are expendable.

they didn’t, Utah were asking for Barrett, Obi, Grimes and 5 first rounders, you are getting Mitchell to play with who?

Utah tried to truly finesse the Knicks with those trade offers the media released. Then we look at what Cleveland gave for this trade, IMO was very mediocre without a signle standout player. What they wanted from NY was the whole MSG. I'm glade NY kept it's young core and I'm looking forward to the future.

They gave there offer they denied and they didn’t need to give in and give more. The deal they gave was great for both team, the knicks didn’t want to “lose” the deal

Last time I was this early it didn’t take 5 pick round picks to trade for an all star

Good move from the knicks. If you look into their history, every time they sign a star it gets chaotic. In the end that star leaves, gets injured or gets traded. Might as well start from your young core.

Knicks did the RIGHT thing! We don't need another 6 feet nothing PG/Shooting guard!!!

The biggest issue is that the coach and front office are not on the same page. Coach wants to play vets and does not believe in the players the front office is bringing him

As a Knick fan I am RELIEVED that we didn’t trade for Mitchell. Donovan is going to be good in Cleveland and Jazz definitely got fleeced. Cavs will be in the playoffs every year

Sexton was just a rare case being very desirable but unwanted by the original team. Cavs are just doing awesome in recent drafts.

Utah accepted picks that will most likely be in the 20s compared to top 15 from the Knicks. Utah took a serious lost there as far as the quality of those pick. That’s why Knicks only offered 2. Leon rose isn’t a sucka

No matter what ny does they get hate. Content creators goota eat and so do these sources that leak all this "info". Anyone notice we know everything going on with the knicks and nets, but not every other team?
