Those memories will always remain in our hearts. When we were college students, in the late 70's, our favorite mall was Ever Emporium in Recto. We just walked coz it's near in our beloved university. I'm so sad to hear whar happened to our favorite mall. Now, I'm a senior citizen. Thank you very much for your great discussion and sharing the story of EVER GOTESCO💕

Nakakalungkot Ang nangyari kc andami Kong magandang memories sa ever gotesco grand central from 1999- 2008 ay nagwork ako dyan sa supermarket nila. Every Nov 8 ay nagpi-perform kami sa mismong mall atrium nila contest Yun per department. We played an stage play there at halos kilala ko mga pamilya Ng may Ari Ng malls na sila ma'am Evelyn go panganay na anak Ng matandang go. Nag work din ako sa ever imporium Caloocan at commonwealth at kapag renewal Ng contract ko ay doon ako pumupunta sa main office nila sa recto for approval. First job ko Yan at parang Isang malaking pamilya Ang natagpuan ko dyan.Lahat Ng first sa buhay ko ay dyan naganap Bigla akong nalungkot Ng mapanuod ko to at Sana kapag nakaluwas ako Ng Caloocan muli Kong mapasyalan at mabalikan Ang Lugar na to na ngaun ay sm na pala

I feel the pain in my heart after seeing this documentary. Nangingilid ang luha ko. My father used to work in Monumento, every pay day we travel to their store and wait for him sa Ever Grand Central (sa tapat lang kasi yung appliance store nila). Elementary pa ako noon. This is where I first experience to watch in Cinema with the whole family (kumpleto pa kami). Showing pa yung "Ang Teacher Kong Pogi". When their store closed, I rarely return to the mall until nagka-work ako and bago pa ito nasunog. Nagkaroon na ako ng family ngayon and ang last experience ko sa mall is when we celebrated the 1st birthday and christening of my youngest son 4 yrs ago sa Ever Commonwealth. I may say that Ever Gotesco has been a part of my life and that I have shared the same experience with my children is a memory to cherish while we're still living. I just hope that the last standing Ever mall will never-EVER close. Thank you for all the memories EVER! 😇❤

Ever Gotesco Commonwealth 😊🤚 Since I studied College in New Era University, isa to s pinaka malapit n mall from our school, so many memories, one time nakadaan ako ulit sa tapat ng Ever Commonwealth on my way to House of Representatives, brings back the memories talaga ang peg, isa sa tambayan namin and malimit kmi mag last full show with my housemates and takbuhan kapag may need bilhin for school.un mala castle n structure from the outside sobrang nakakamiss un memories and un mga friends na kasama ko sa mall na to. 😍. Batang Quiapo here. buhay na buhay sa alaala ko ang grocery nila at mini department store. Pati ang sinehan nila. Then tambayan ng mg u-belt students ang Ever Manila Plaza. 1996-2000 Era ang kasiglahan nila. Daming CP stores jan. Along Gotesco Annex may old houses pa jan na parang panahon ng kastila mga bahay. Nakakamiss sobra... Love your 'Noon at Ngayon series'.

So many goood memories in EVER GOTESCO COMMONWEALTH. From elem to hs yan ang TAMBAYAN NAMIN. Ang mura kasi ng bilihin. Plus nung nauso yung papa-pic sa studio ang mag babaarkada. Sa ever tronix ang takbuhan. Ever gotesco is the only mall near us way back then. I’m so happy that it’s still there up to today.

Thank you for showing Ever Gotesco before and now. Nakakamiss ang puntahan ng barkada. May fast food place na sayawan noon sa gabi sa top floor yata ng Grand Mall. Doon lang kami sumasayaw at kumakain. That was more than 30 years ago.

Naging babaan at sakayan ko ang jeep terminal d'yan sa Ever Gotesco Grand Central patungong Kaligayahan ES, Novaliches noong teacher pa ako from 1987-1989 sa Novaliches. Mula noong 1989 hindi na ako nakabalik sa lugar hanggang napanood ko ang vlog na ito na ngayon pala ay SM City Grand Central na. Balak kong puntahan ang lugar dahil retired na ako at may time nang mag unwind. Thanks sa vlog na Noon at Ngayon.

Ever was like a family to me when I worked there for almost 6years. My stay there was one of the most memorable & happiest moments in my life. The yearly event called Mr & Ms Ever Smile and the friendly competition of different departments with song dance or play depending on the theme made it more exciting among the employees including the management. Just fyi, as far as I recall, the first fire started at the 3rd floor and not the ground floor. 😢😢😢

Ever Gotesco, Good Earth, Cherry Foodarama, COD Cubao, Manuela... Yan ang mga malls and supermarket na natatandaan ko nung kabataan ko. Dinadala ako sa Cherry Foodarama ng nanay ko pag nag grocery kame pagkatapos kong mag sit in sa klase nya kse wala akong yaya nung batang paslit ako. My mom was a College Professor sa P.U.P. back then, at yun mga estudyante nya ang nag-aalaga sa akin habang nagtuturo sya sa classroom hehe. Tuwing magpapasko naman, sa Ever Gotesco, sa COD or sa Manuela (now Starmall Edsa Shaw) kame namimili ng Christmas gifts naming sapatos at mga damit. Time flies, now I'm going 48 this August at may sarili nang freelance business. My mom died during the first quarter of the pandemic in 2020 (aneurysm, non-Covid), but I could clearly recall the great times with her shopping in these malls during my childhood.

Sobrang favorite ko ang ever gotesco lalo yun grand central, dami namin memories, dyan kami namimili ng mga damit dahil napaka ganda at napaka daming choices na boutique, lalo sa gift gate sobrang fan ako, dyan din kami nanonood ng movies lalo na nun nag aaral pa kami magka cutting class kami para lang manood ng sine. 😁
Dyan kami bumibili ng mga needs namin sa school lalo sa national bookstore, hangang makapag work na kami magkaron ng asawa at anak dyan pa rin kami sa grand central. Dyan ang meeting place tambayan intayan namin ng mga barkada at ka work ko. At higit sa lahat dyan kami dumadaan pag papauwi na kami dahil dyan ang terminal ng sakayan namin malinta exit. Kaya sobrang daming memories talaga sa ever, tsaka yun ever sa monumento circle pag magpapasko meron silang christmas decor sa labas ng building nila na mga tren, santa clause, angels at kung anu ano pa. Sayang at nawala ang ever grand central. Ever beke nemen... ❤️😉

So sad to see the store's end. Both of my paternal roots was from Malabon City. When I was a kid my mom used to do our shopping (basically for our school items) there at Ever Gotesco Manumento, since it took only a single jeepney rider from Sangandaan Market to go there. My favorite place there was the National Bookstore. They carried a wide variety of merchandise there, especially the Bible coloring books and comics which was pretty cheap in those days. I also vividly remember that in front of Ever was Uniwide Sales Grocery where we do our grocery. I also do remember buying freshly baked Baker's Fair Dice Hopia inside Ever which is the very reason why I become such a Hopia addict. Ever and Uniwide had a very special place in my heart.

Nakaka lungkot namn wala na ang EVER. Nakapag work pa ako dati sa Ever oRtigas year 2006 as counter checker, napaka ganda rin ng memories ko sa pag work together all cashier, checker, sales clerk at mga visor, kahit nung 2006 ramdam na namin ng medjo palubog na ang mall kasi yung 3rd flr ng depstore naka close na sya tos wala ng mga renewvation na nangyayari sa bldg yung maintenance nya para sa bldg hnd na ganun kahit sa mga locker ng mga tao luma na, sa mga paninda nila mura din talaga sya unlike sa ibang malls lalo yung mga outright items mura sa kanila. Is good memories hoping na sana makabangon padin sila sa kanilang buss. Thanks for this vlog!

Thank you. Gotesco Grand Central was the best place for me to go to when i want to shop, unwind, eat. I was a new wife then and my kids grew up with Ever Gotesco and it became a memorable part of their lives until its demise in 2012. So sad. I hope Mr. Go will bounce back and recover his losses.
