you are correct when i bought my mill i got the extension with it no shipping since then i bought the second HM 122 one is on a trailer and got the exrension with that so i could mill around 28 feet we have discussed doing some beams but have not done so yet . One thing your going to want to use a line level and a string to match the bunks its much easier to get them level
