When I got into fitness, I was told that Korean food wasn’t “clean” enough, so I avoided it for years. I’ve long since moved away from that mentality, thankfully.

One of the reasons I stopped calorie counting was because it drove me crazy that the myfitnesspal suggestions for my favorite korean foods were so inaccurate. I ended up eating less korean food, which made me sad, so I decided to stop tracking. Now I make the same happy dance eating my favorite foods that you did at the end of the video!

Thank you for this! As a Mexican, i can relate that the food isn't the healthiest, but it's ok bc it's made with love!

This is a great way off showing adding! Instead of just having the noodles, you add some protein, some veggies, and the fermented food staple more of use should have in our diet, kimchi!! Love to see it!!

Every single food creator on YouTube - "My childhood was traumatic, I was ashamed of my culture, every one made fun of my school lunches, now i am so enlightened and confident and braaaave"

I bought a food scale years ago to weight macros but forgot about it. I just couldn't keep up. Now i just make sure every meal has protein, carbs and vitamins in some form. For example chips. I'll get salsa and guacamole or mix sour cream, guacamole, and ghost pepper queso and eat that with chips.

I remember in elementary school I'd hide what my korean mom packed me for lunch. I was so embarrassed because everyone looked at me weird and I'd get comments like "eww what's that?" My mom used to try to teach me Korean but I refused to try to learn because I grew up being shamed by peers for being different. I regret it so much

Your videos have really helped me with my relationship with food. I have started incorporating Korean food into my diet and I find it so filling that the calories rarely matter as I can't eat a ton

Stir-frys are so helpful though! So simple to just toss stuff in a pan and eat in like 10, 20min. I don't wanna cook after a workout (or even before, I'm very lazy 😅) so something that can taste delicious with a few ingredients that I actually can track easily helps me be more consistent with my fitness/nutrition goals 🥳

That looks delicious! I will try the parts of it I can (broken jaw from a bike accident last year left me with a compromised bite so uncooked carrots are out.). I can work with this, though!

Don't break noodle and don't put raw egg in your pot
just steamed egg in there
