Future Medical Expenses | Damages Series

When valuing a claim, we must also look at future medical expenses for our clients that are not fully healed by the time of making a demand or trial.

In determining the value of that damages category, we can look at or request future cost estimates or even work with a life care planner to help us determine the reasonable cost for future medical treatment.

This is an important recoverable trial, because if you have to continue to make medical payments off of a catastrophic injury or chronic disorder caused by the negligent party. It should not be on you to make medical payments that were caused by another person!
