Bosch Drill Chuck Stuck Open

Just got a new Bosch gsb18v-45.

The chuck was set like this from the start, now I've never owned one of these powered screwdrivers before and the manual made no mention of this technique.

So thank you, i can now use my screwdriver/drill Combo

I don’t get this. Every video on this subject just says hold the chuck and power it the other way. As if I haven’t tried that already??
