Hitch (2005) - Boat Scene

One of my favorite scenes in the movie "Hitch" starring Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Kevin James and Amber Valletta.

People failed to understand that Hitch's main job was to get the person in through the door first (as in getting noticed) as most guys fail in this aspect. He doesn't really do much afterwards to be honest.

I love when he made her realize that she would have never noticed him if he didn't hadn't taken his initial advice, the guys he helped just needed a chance.

The main message I felt that this movie gave was that it's far better to be yourself than to try and put on a facade for the purpose of getting others to like or notice you. Your true colors always win out.

I love how this scene reveals how Hitch truly works: he’s not trying to change men in order to get with the women they love, he’s trying to make them confident. Allegra became attracted to Albert because of his mannerisms

Funny how when Alegra comes looking for Albert at his office, Hitch is choking Albert. Albert comes looking for Alegra in the yacht, and Albert is choking Hitch. 😂😂😂😂

Allegra and Albert have to be one of my favorite movie couples even though this is just a little rom com from the early 2000s.

I like the fact in this scene that when Hitch asks her if she would have noticed Albert on her own, she realizes she wouldn’t have and then learns the stuff she liked most about Albert wasn’t some act or play. Makes both her and Albert likable individually as well as a couple.

I have to say that it kind of bothers me that a lot of people who saw this film are commenting how Kevin James's character Albert called Will Smith's character Hitch out on his B.S. I really didn't see it that way. True… Albert was right to an extent when he called Hitch a coward for being too afraid to follow his own heart and love someone. However, I truly believe that Hitch wanted to help others find love and had good intentions in doing so. He was just so doubtful for himself that for the longest time he just gave up any hope of love and happiness.
