Also another covered-yard in Rosyth that can produce two Type 31 frigates at a time. Production becoming less on an issue, while recruitment and retention is getting worse; a much greater challenge to solve...

Just a nitpick on the pronouncing of Glasgow, it’s pronounced “Glaz-go”. Cheers 😁

You and Uncle Sal should have an on screen discussion about the lack of shipbuilding and how to solve it.

With all this extra capacity Scotland will now be able to produce one, maybe two ferries per decade at a unit price of only a billion each

Great news! I'd also like to see both nations getting our other allies involved as well. Could even be more cost effective to have a country like the Philippines also ship building. It's also great to see the Japanese getting in the game in a big way.

All 6 type 45 destroyers were built in Scotland. All type 26 and 31 frigates are going to be built in Scotland. And UK's 2 aircraft carriers? Yep. Built in Scotland. I know the politics is complicated but seems like a good deal for all involved.
