Top 3 Baits October For That CAN'T MISS!

In October bass fishing HEATS up as temps cool down. Bass begin to really go on the feed. They bait is moving days are shorter and the cold is coming or already here. Moving baits and power fishing are a go to for me this time of year and here's my top 3 can't miss baits.

Any topwater bait will work but I have a couple favorites that I like to use. Walking baits and poppers are great but any kind of topwater WILL work. Keep moving this time of year. A Crankbait is KILLER a shallow diver, squarebill, lipless all work great in stained to dirty water but for the clearer lakes That meduim diver is money. A Jerkbait is the perfect this time of year but I throw them with a twist. Water temp is keep to when deciding when to use a rising or suspending jerkbait.

A bait that has been doing really well for me this week has been the Strike King Hybrid Hunter, and Hybrid Hunter Jr in the Sweet Shad color. Inside sections of wind blown main lake points, and big coves with the wind blowing baitfish in and the Bass staging up in a little deeper water and just waiting for them to try to swim out of the cove and then snatch them up. I sit at the mouths of the coves and fan cast the Hybrid Hunter towards the bank and it looks like one of the Shad trying to run the gauntlet of Bass and get back to the main lake.

Dude i've been killing it on a lipless crankbait the last two weeks "burn, pause, burn, " quality fish, 3 to 5 pounders everyday, at a highly pressured lake by my house, during the summer it's hard to catch fish at this lake but there in this one shallow end were there feeding on the shad and bluegill, and i'm taking full advantage of it from the bank LOL, even caught'em on a walking bait, to mix it up, love the vids, keep up the good work !!
