Extensive experience at both Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley startups, transformed Elliptic Labs from an R&D company into an international enterprise, commercializing leading-edge virtual sensor technologies based on AI, ultrasound and sensor-fusion for the smartphone, laptop and IoT markets.

Starting out career as a professional soccer player in Japan, professional background spans enterprise software, consumer electronics, and embedded systems. Proven track record of bringing emerging technologies to global markets, at companies including CRL (acquired by AppliedTheory), Scali (acquired by Platform Computing), and FastScale Technology Inc. (acquired by EMC/VMware). Also held management roles at IBM and Penguin Computing, and currently shares expertise as an advisor to ascending companies. Speaker at top MBA programs and an advisor for Innovation Norway. Awarded an MS from the Norwegian School of Economics and a BA from the University of San Francisco.
