In August 2015, Alexandr Rjavitin escaped the army of the separatist region Transnistria, given the unbearable conditions there. He crossed the Dniester River and walked to Chişinău, in his military uniform and slippers. A film by Eugenia Crețu. The project was realized thanks to the support provided by the US Embassy in Chisinau. Opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect the position of the embassy.
