Ari Nebo Peak Review | 2024 eMTB Lite Group Review

When we first rode the @aribikes Nebo Peak for a Dissected Feature earlier this year, it was one of the most exciting lightweight eMTBs we'd ridden. Fast forward and it's still incredibly light and exciting. In fact, it is the lightest ebike in our 2024 eMTB Lite Shootout. Weight isn't everything though and luckily the Ari Nebo Peak has a lot more positive attribute to talk about. Let's see how this 140mm/150mm @FAZUA Ride 60-powered eBike performed for the crew and who we think the ideal consumer for this eMTB might be.

Good summary. I bought one and returned it. Had some shipping and other damage and it creaked something awful in rear triangle. Loved the motor, lightness and it did feel lively, even a bit twitchy at first. Ari customer service was great and tried to help me walk thru troubleshooting.

I’m using a coil on mine and as a mullet. It’s a hidden gem. I’ve taken it up to double blacks without issues. It’s very capable but it’s still a 140. It’s good enough for most people. Too many run more travel than they need and that kills the fun in bikes.

Awesome review as always. My Nebo should be arriving this week! 🥳 🎉

This is one of the bikes I am interested in. It definitely checks all the boxes for me, especially with my BMX background.

I really really like ARI bikes and this one especially checks all of the boxes for me if I were to get one

I’ve found the rear suspension to be an interesting one. Essentially it’s helped to increase the shocks linearity, lengthen fork and the rear chainstay and drop shock PSI. It’s really progressive by default, esp with HBO and is a hard bike to get its 140mm out of.

Fazua ride 60 is super-efficient but still need the extender for the longer rides. Doubt if they will ever release it.

I’m interested in how you all think this bike stacks up to the Heckler SL. For me I loved the Fazua ride system but couldn’t deal with the MX back wheel breaking loose so easily

Sadly ride 60 drive units are failing everywhere. I know 3 people that ride them and they all have had to replace the motors. my friend with a transition relay has replace 3 motors.

My Ripley felt like that on hits and rock edges and a simple rebound adjustment fixed it. I assume you guys tried that ? I thought I was a faster rider than I actually was 😬

As per a lot of other people. Have Fazua sorted out the reliability issue and that dam ring controller?

Bike is on sale for 5000 right now, couldn’t imagine there’s a better sl bike remotely close to that value

Curious if coil shock would help with the bucking that was explained.

How do you guys compare the nebo peak to the trek exe?

Being late to the party for the DJI Avinox motor is going to kill the brand.

Dji price point puts it in a different class

Another rock smashing bottom bracket/ downtube design. Can hardly believe Ibis analog fell into this category in 2025.
Anyway, DJI found a solution.

Bike seems great but the Fazua motor is a complete disaster in terms of reliability. Proven. Sorry. :(
