Because of this video, this woman has now changed her headlight bulb TWICE, on my Mazda!
Thank you Sir!
All because you took the whole thing out so we could get a good view!

THANK YOU! I just came from another video showing how they REMOVED THE ENTIRE FRONT END just to change a bulb! I am so glad I found this simpler way!

This is THE BEST demonstration on how to change the headlights. Approximately a year ago, I searched throughout YouTube for how to replace my headlight, and all of the videos that I found showed that this would require removing the Entire front end to accomplish it. Therefore, I ended up having Mazda do it for ONE BULB. It cost over $100!!! Stupid me, I had them change a rear light. That cost $30!!! Thanks SO VERY MUCH s33therfan!

My son found a video on how to replace the bulb but I found yours. The two videos were night and day apart. Of course we chose yours and were able to complete the job in just a few minutes because you showed us the pitfalls before doing the job.

Hello. Just letting you know your video helped me in replacing my headlight bulb for my 2007 Mazda 6. It took a little bit of effort in getting that little latch/spring off but I got it done. Thanks for helping me save a lot of time and money.

I have a 2007 Mazda 6 and every time I have to change the bulbs, I wind up wanting a few beers after. You can do it without taking everything else apart, but it's incredibly awkward, since you can't see any of it or easily get leverage, or even light to it. This video is great as you give such a clear view of how things line up. The toughest part about this whole thing is after you connect the new bulb, getting it oriented properly so the / shaped part is pointing at the little bit where the spring catches and then somehow using just touch to hold it in place and work that little spring back over. I just did both of mine - thanks for the helpful video. Now, beers.

Fantastic video bud. Just wish I'd found it before a friend "helped"me out and now my whole high beam surround is loose. Great simple explanation and I totally agree with previous comments, the headlight out really really made it.

I thought French cars were hard to change but Mazda upped the ante. Big props on the video!

Thanks so much for pulling the entire headlight out of the car for this video. It's almost impossible to see what is going on in there so I just paused your video and felt around to get the bulb changed.

I have the same exact car. This video saved me so much money and time I was able to change it myself with just the help of one person. Thank you so so much for this helpful video!!!!

Dude I have watched a few videos on here and they all have people taking off the entire bumper to remove the fixtures and replace. I legit jumped back on here cause I couldn't remember if I was forgetting a hidden bolt behind the fixture and found this gem of a video showing me the way of doing it without taking the damn thing off. I've been taking it off for years!! Thank you for this

Thank you so much. Your video was very helpful. The driver side low beam bulb looks easier to replace than the passenger side low beam bulb. You may have to pull the wheel well cover off to access that side. Pretty tight from the top. Just a suggestion. thanks again.

So glad I found this bc I just got off the phone with an auto shop for an oil change and asked them what the additional charge would be for them to change my headlight bulbs if I brought the new bulbs in with me and they said that they would have to remove my whole front bumper and it was going to be $150! I’m a full time college student with a part time job that’s literally half my paycheck so I thank you fo this

This video was a huge help, thank you!! Especially appreciate how you described and showed the pin mechanism from another angle. Ps. For any other Mazda 6 2005 Sports Wagon owners here – I found that the process in this video worked perfect for the driver's side light; however, the passenger side light was too difficult to access in this manner. For that side, I found that it was much easier to simply turn my wheels to the left, then remove enough of the pins holding the passenger-side wheel well cover in place so that you can peel back the cover and reach up to the headlight cap from that direction. (This is one of the methods is described in Autozone's 'Headlight change' video, in case you could use a visual for that)

Thanks so much for the video. Just came from another video and almost tear my bumper off. Great work! The best Mazda 6 bulb change explanation and method on YouTube!

Thank you, thank you. This is the best vid on YouTube for replacement of headlight bulbs on the older Mazda's. I have a 2008. Did low beam on right side in about 25 minutes, just toke my time. DID NOT have to disassemble the entire front end of the car like other videos say. Why do Mazdas make things so complicated? ( I can remove the entire headlight assembly on my 02 Mustang in about 30 seconds! Just 2 spring tabs and its out) The Japanese just make things too complicated!

Excellent Video. I watched parts of other videos declaring with confidence that you need to remove the bumper to do this...what idiots....with your help, I did it in 5 minutes. Great close ups of the assembly. It required a bit of dexterity but not much. Saved me so much time and frustration. Thanks!
