Just having a rest from crushing the malt for my 7th APA. This is my favorite from my Braumeister. Always turns out well, although I do save some cost by using US-05 as I find 1056 needs at least a 1lt starter. If used on its own I needed to re-pitch.

Great looking brew system. Love the all-in-one approach with the set and forget temp control. Sweet. So much less to clean up at the end of the brew day too it seems. I was a bit freaked out about the hops in the sunlight, though. Did they get skunked?

If you would make one for the US with F degrees and a US 220V plug, or even just the plug, you would make a fortune selling here.

Remember, it's a reverse engineering system! So do not place the fine filter on the bottom plate, but place it between the malt and the top plate!
BTW.
Why does nobody washes out his spent grain with ¼ of 78°C water? There's so much much sugar in!? You can cook it in!
