The fact that the graduation rate is only 5% is an embarrassment and insane in itself. Sound like they went to school just to party.

The reason why these women are so big is because of the food they eat and lack of exercise.

A lot (not all) overweight women are hostile towards slim or skinner women. It's even worse when a woman is kind, slim, and attractive.

I have never witnessed such pride in a group that should be ashamed of themselves..

I have a Langston University yearbook from the 1930's. Those young men, women, and the entire faculty presented an outstanding image of excellence for Black Americans. Every page of that yearbook looks amazing. My how far we have fallen.

Never underestimate the spirit of a woman. The sad part is they "all" think they look good. Crazy work.

There is a change in the culture in America. I am a Black woman who was a teen in the 1970s. If you look at young people of all races from that era including Black girls it was unusual to see overweight young people. Speaking about my own experience my parents served balance meals at home. Fast food or Chinese food was a treat on pay day so twice a month. Portions were also smaller then. Coke was in 8 oz glass bottles. Juice was served in 4 oz juice glasses. We went to restaurants on special occasions like Father's day or Mother's day. I walked to school usually 2-5 blocks 5 days a week. I walked or rode my bike everywhere. When I hit puberty my mother had me fitted for a bra and girdle. I was taught it was vulgar for a woman to have a jiggly bosom or behind. I wore foundations so when I hit my late teens I had an hourglass figure. That was known as the soul sister figure back then. Women do not seem to wear foundations anymore. Foundations give you smooth curves and a flat stomach. My mother also taught me proper manners and how to behave in public. I was well aware I represented my parents. I knew not to embarrass my parents. I also attended charm school at a Sears department store. The school was for teenage girls. It was in an inner city Sears so all the girls in the class were Black teens.

I turned down a football scholarship from Langston in 1994 and went into the military instead. I clearly see I had a guardian angel on my side.

People are just lying for the sake of argument. I see it everywhere and everyday, our women are big and proud. The women that act like they don’t see it are purposely being delusional. They’re even this big in high school I see it every time I go to my son’s school.

As a Black college professor, I no longer support the idea of our young people going off to college. Greek organizations are waiting to colonize them, and we still have a 1st generation college student rate at 70% or more. The academic failure rate of students incentivised to pledge Greek life is heartbreaking, and the average student loan indebtedness amount, for an average college student today, is $50k. A lot of students are taking college classes while in high school and graduating with a bachelor's at the same time they receive their high school diplomas. I strongly support this and also working with high school students after their sophmore year with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test, similar to the ASVAB administered in the military, that matches student's strengths with exact career titles, so there is no ambiguity concerning what their major should be.
