990HP Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG vs 850HP BMW M5 F90

During the 2019 SCC500 Rolling50 1000 I have filmed a crazy modified 990HP Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG by Gorilla Racing. It did some drag racing against other tuned cars with a rolling start of 50 km/h!

Other than the cars looking good and getting to hear how they sound... I hate these "race" videos where you only get to see them roll off and the camera zooms! These videos suck for excitement and the "race" aspect! What's the point?

CLS 63 AMG (C218) was from 2011 to 2018. M5 F90 from the beginning of 2018 to 2024. These comparisons again and again with older models from Mercedes, it is clear that the newer engine technology and improved transmission ratio.

990hp my ass not one of those cars in video was making over 6-700 tops, beyond the lack of speed/acceleration you can tell just by revs and shifts, no wheel spin nothing getting sideways. Post a dyno graph or 1/4 mile slip and I’d believe it
