Awesome content!
You highlighted a Great viewpoint about Nigeria selling its refined petroleum in its local currency Naira.
It certainly would be a game changer, if Dangote makes that Strategic move.!

Nigerian oil, compared to crude oil from the Middle East, is lighter and does not damage engine parts and causes less pollution compared to the conventional one we use. Plus it is expensive given the impurities that are found in it leading to it being processed at every stage whereas Nigerian oil seems not to go too much processing. It will definitely go a long way in lower insurance premiums for motorists which will not make certain sectors hell bent on ripping people off on their monthly premiums happy. Nevertheless, this kind of oil will be a best seller by value. Happy spoke about the impact of this move regarding the Naira.

That is where the problem is, the administrators of this new wealth. Unless we get visionary leaders, this current ones will just blow it up in flame and smoke. The big question is this, how have they managed the ' little ' so far? Can they be trusted with much?

It will not. The reason is that it's not allowed a great percentage of the 400 million people in Nigeria out of poverty meaning that the table is tilted the wrong way for the west. And dangote refinery is built with European components and that's a very, very weak point
