Sadly my thunderbolt controller "fried" after updating windows. Dch or legacy drivers no longer recognize the controller. The driver pops in for about 30 seconds after I wake laptop up from sleep. Installing DCH driver says "failed" even from a fresh reinstall of windows.

I got my hub working for my 2018 Dell XPS 15 by right clicking the Thunderbolt Software logo -> Approve attached devices -> port 1 -> changed dropdown to "always connect"
