How to reset your Honeywell thermostat

After my "successful" reset, web and app based commands aren't going through. No commands are being sent, but in the app it says there's a hold of 70 degrees that can't be undone. But the screen of the thermostat says 65 and no hold. The app, when i try to release the hold, it snaps right back to a hold. But again, none of that actually gets sent to the thermostat, just remains on the app's display. Any ideas? Potentially a temp issue at honeywell?

Wondering if you want to disconnect from the Wifi altogether, do you follow these same steps until it shows "wifi setup" and will it work offline?

The reason I wanted wifi capability was so that I could control it remotely. If system fails when I'm away and I need to be home to reset it, that's not good.

Mine just keeps making a “clicking sound” as the screen pulses on and off. Tried turning off the breaker, unplugging the unit from the wall. This is the SECOND Honeywell unit I’ve purchased that has failed like this.

We did this- but now our cool option is gone. It only displays heat or off. How do we fix that?

This is bad information. All this does is reset the Wi-Fi. When you go into reset you actually want code number 90. Was very disappointed in this video.

My thermostat is similar to yours but it has only three buttons instead of 4 it's the Honeywellth6000 it wont go to 39 when on reset mode .. the reason I'm trying to reset it cuz I have it set on 70 but its says its 77 for the temperature
