All of these Combine songs have this sweet motif where this really loud and pronounced siren-like noise alerts you to the presence of the Combine, as they are alerted to yours, and then persists through the rest of the song as a backing instrument. Really great work on Morasky's part to make the Combine feel REALLY threatening.

Seriously this song made me feel so badass in that tunnel filled with manhacks and shotgun heavies armed only with grenades. I couldn’t help but dance while it played. Hell every let’s player who started hearing this immediately started dancing to it as well.

Half Life soundtracks are just, like, these fast paced, energetic, just really good pieces of music with ab roken toaster in the background making noise and i'm here like "Yeah, gimme more of that broken fucking toaster i NEED the sounds"
