This is how reproduction cycle takes place!!

Anther < pollen grains < stigma < pollen tube< ovary < ovules < fertilization < zygote < embryo < fruit < formation

Edit: omg everyone giving like will get 100 marks in science

Memory trick: "SQuiD DoG"
Remove vowels, get "SQDDG".

SQDDG is initial letters of each point of advantage of vegetative propagation:

S: Survival rate is almost 100%.
Q: Quick and cheap production of a large number of plants.
D: Disease-free plants can be produced.
D: Desired/Desirable characteristics can introduced.
G: Genetically identical plants can be produced.

'Sexual' Reproduction in plants:-
1. Male reproductive parts- Anther(contains pollen grains and pollen grains contains male reproductive cells), Filament(long and narrow tube). Anther is present at the tip of the Filament.

2. Female reproductive parts- stigma(Sticky structure at the top of the style), style(A long narrow tube that joins stigma to the ovary), ovary(swollen basal part present at the inner downward part, and contains female reproductive cells).

So now that we learn about reproductive parts, let us understand how it takes place.

The pollen grains from the anther of a plant to the stigma of other plant is called pollination. After the stigma receives the pollen grains, it forms a pollen tube through the style upto the ovary. Now the pollen grains reaches the ovary and fuses with the female reproductive cells and zygote is formed. This is know as fertilisation. After fertilisation, the ovary forms the friut and the ovule froms the seed and thus a new plant forms from the seed, etc, etc.

Therefore we conclude that:-

Pollen grains from the anther->stigma of another flower by wind, water and insects->male reproductive cells of the pollen grains fuses with the female reproductive cells->Zygote is formed->Ovary forms friut and ovule forms seed.
