Love the big FN at the end. It's an illustration of the dead-end ideas that were pursued before the original Jeep showed the way to do things. Of all of these, though, the Indian 841 is my favourite.

- Veranópolis, Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil.

My dream motorcycle:The BSA M20! What a gorgeous sound. Not the most Horsepower ;-) But 500 cm doin' a healthy 13HP. I wont be driving this beauty much. I'd be looking for red lights, so that I can listen to it ;-)

I don't remember what year the sdcooter was but it was from the late 50s. The motor was bad on the Cushman Eagle he had bought for my uncle who was 6 mos younger than me. He took off the Cushman motor and put a 16HP Tecumseh 4 stroke engine on it and it would really run. It would keep up with the big Harleys on the highway. It was a two speed and he changed some of the pulleys and put on twin belts. The motorscooter would smoke the rear tire as long as you wanted to hold the front brake and when you finally shifted into 2nd gear the rear tire would actually start squalling and peeling out again until you either got up to speed or backed off of the throttle. It was an awesome running scooter.

The FN, the last bike figured would have been a rough old ride for the rear passengers.. Sort of reminds me of a 3 wheeled Jeep.. Great that it has a reverse gear. Wish more bikes had reverse gear.

That motorist passing the Indian twin at 2:37 was too close for comfort in my opinion!

That FN M12 I'd never seen before, but I can think of plenty of trails to take it on.

The US Indian at 3:42 has a RUSSIAN entrenching tool strapped to the leather Thompson submachine gun case!

00:50 That Harley was based on BMW R71. Engine Boxer and cardan transmission.
Americans have never been able to build good engines, only big size.

My uncle Harold rode Harley in second world war because two way radios not work some areas so he was a dispatch rider to deliver news from close to front and rode back to people in control of the war
