Wasn’t this already in the game? Like I think showing the animation is new but I could have sworn they could autonomously ask to get engaged just like they can ask to move in together

This has been around a while. I first noticed it after high school years, but I'm guessing it came with my wedding stories. It's only happened once, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen it until now!

I think this feature has been in game for long, but in another form. My legacy's first gen started like this.

I have been waiting for EA to enable something like this! I hope they also enable the ability for sims to autonomously ask our sims out on a date. I haven't seen that happen. I also miss love letters like they had in Sims 3. That would be so cool!

Ok i like that they actually gave us an animation for that finally. In high school years update they just came into your house and asked you out of no where

This actually happens to me too much since getting lovestruck. They will propose on the first or second date even if we aren’t dating. Hopefully they tune it quickly

I do know that this was a thing before the update and the pack. They even come into your house to do so even when your sim is still asleep

Pretty sure this was a base game update a while ago. It happened to me the other day while playing even before the pre-lovestruck update. He showed up at my acting gig to propose. 😅
