In traditional knee replacement surgery, also known as knee arthroplasty, the worn and damaged knee surfaces are replaced using a prosthesis or implant. A long vertical incision within the middle of the knee is made to carry out this surgery. This incision provides the doctor access to the joint. Robotic knee replacement surgery will help in reducing the pain and the patients will be able to go back to their regular routine with improved mobility.
