Java EE Security API – Current Status

In this interview, Rudy De Busscher, member of the Expert Group on „Java EE Security API“ (JSR 375), gives an overview on the work as well as the current status of the Expert Group. Their goal is to try to define security on the level of the Java EE platform as a whole, because until now security was handled on the frameworks itself. De Busscher also looks back on what they have achieved in the last two years and gives an outlook on future developments.
