Hello my beautiful souls,
It´s about time to do something for my german folks :)
this week its an unpopular song by a very popular german band, called Silbermond.
Its a song anbout a highway that you pass while driving to your hometown. With all these mixed feelings. A bit heavy hearted. Because its feels familiar, and thats what makes you kind of sad, because you are used to how the people in your hometown are... its a bit bittersweet. Because you want to get into contact with your inner child and all memories of the childhood are flashing back at you. But you remind this one place where you always was feeling free, felt accpeted and calm.
For me this place is deep in the woods where my grandfather had a small cabin, where i build crowns out of daisys and rolled down the meadow. He is gone since a few years, and everytime i think my life is going a bit crazy, i love to go back to this place.
I would have loved to show you the real place, but an police officer thought i am too sneaky and wanted to see my papers when i was near that cabin. Of course it does not belong to our family anymore, since my grandpa died. But i love to get near that place from time to time. But i tried my best to show you anyhow how it would look :)
Translation mistakes in the lyrics is something that you can stuff up into your wrinkled *peep peep peep* :D
I left the mix and vocals as raw as possible, because i felt like the song deserves to be as much authenthic as possible :) Hope you guys enjoy this! Stay save, sending you aaaaaallll the love from the swabian princess :)
