No need for leather. I love this saddle. I have two bikes and I have it on both of them. Cruelty free and immediately comfortable saddle.. It's a win-win!

I bought the C17 a few weeks ago. The best saddle I have ever owned. The comfort is amazing. I also noticed an increase in speed on my rides. Thanks, Brooks.

How anyone describe this as comfortable is beyond me. After 10 km of riding, it felt like I sat on a plank of wood lined with coarse sandpaper. Unfortunately I decided to finish my tour of 60 km nevertheless. Back at home, a look in the mirror from behind revealed there was a baboon in the bathroom, or so I thought at first.

Luv my Brooks saddle. Brooks saddle is the bestest. My LBC has no returns on this saddle. The Saturday morning ride one commonality is every one rides a Brooks. Thank you for a life changing product for my cycling.

The texture is rough at first and tends to "grab" your shorts but that wears off quickly. It's stiffer than my B17 and the only bike I've tried in on so far is my Surly Big Dummy which has an upright position. I went back with my Brooks spring ride on the Dummy and I'll try the Cambium out on the new road bike I'm building. It should be much better with a more aggressive riding position.

Beautiful, but I'd love to also see a leather saddle built around this, I'm assuming, lightweight frame.

Great saddle. I've got a C17 in slate on my Colnago CX Zero Alu, but I was wondering if you have anything that's MORE comfortable.

Looks more comfortable than the Brooks B17 I spent a year trying to break-in.

Admittedly, the ad is beautiful. As for the saddle itself, it seems that it ticks all the boxes for the worst saddle I've ever used: 1. It's insanely overpriced, 2. It is hard as wood (don't get fooled by the vulcanised rubber marketing) 3. It stains your trousers black (i.e. the black saddle). 4. If that wasn't enough, it's not even made in England (kinda ridiculous coming from a company called Brooks England)

I was in my LBS here in South Korea and there was a Brooks Cambium near the register. I asked the owner what the deal was. He had taken the saddle in trade for some work and was offering the saddle up for sale. He was asking $17.00 and he ended up taking $8.50. Yup. I'm soooo very happy I didn't pay full price ($105.00 or so.) and even happier I didn't pay the $17.00. I went about 40 Km my first day and was sooo very glad I made it home. Suffered through another day commuting to work. I'll give it some time and see what gives in first, the saddle or my bum. Not sure what a rider has to do to experience the comfort everyone talks about. I'm hoping this works because I truly like the way it looks on my titanium Motobecane Fantom Pro which I also picked up used at the same LBS. I think the saddle looks awesome, especially for $8.50.
If I can get it to work for me, it truly should be the last saddle I ever own. Truly.
