Meng Haoran – A Night-mooring on the Jiande River
I steer my boat towards an isle in the misty river to moor,
As daylight draws to a close, there grows a traveller's gloom.
The wilderness is expansive and over trees, the nightfall looms,
The river is clear bringing within reach a reflection of the moon.
The word "stay" originally meant "parking and staying", and this "stop" and "stay" has been here for millennia. The film named "Sujian Dejiang" is also a tribute to culture and landscape.
In December, the city slowly moved from autumn to winter, but the Daci Rock in the image has not yet fallen down with ginkgo leaves, the mist surrounding the river is still surging, and the clouds are still growing among the mountains that sail seven miles. These extreme scenery belonging to Jiande, captured by the camera crew in seven months, all bloomed in warm colours and fragrance in the winter sun.
For thousands of years, countless people have come here, either leaving melodious poetry, song or poetry, or leaving the ink and water paintings that have been handed down for generations. "Yizhouboyanyan" is the friendship between the ancients and the mountains. This time Cheng Fang and Cheng Xiao's team reinterpreted the city's infinite poetry with images.
At this moment, we standing on the bank of Xin'an River, watching the image of "Sujian Dejiang" on the screen, in the interlacing of time and space, together with many poets, creators, and ordinary people like us in history The dream and legend of this city seem to have completed a wonderful and happy journey.
