Sask. Minister of Education to drop sex education program

Saskatchewan's education minister is directing his ministry to review documents around the health and wellness curriculum after a Grade 9 student picked up some surprising material. Planned Parenthood presented to a Grade 9 health class at a school in the Prairie Valley School Division this week. The division says the presentation was aligned with the curriculum. Planned Parenthood says the presentation was vetted beforehand. But they left behind resources for students to pick up afterward. One student picked up a pamphlet that explained graphic sexual acts unrelated to the presentation.
