I was with a man for 5 years.. we were happy, in love and it felt like we could take on the world without fear. He told me he would never hurt me, never leave me and always be there.. the day I told him I was carrying his child, he hurt me by leaving me, that same day.. and has continued to hurt me by never being there.. for me, or his son.. every day when I wake up, I see so much of him in my son.. I reach out with photos and messages at times so, he knows that regardless of him leaving us, I don't regret or hate him. If anything.., I want to thank him.
