I saw this opera live at Royal Opera House Muscat and it is the best opera performance I have ever seen. The singing, the acting, the costumes, the set, the direction ... bellissimo!

I dont understand if this piece is originally from nezami ganjavi ( an iranian poetry) why all of things are chinese here? clothes! makeups! ....!
