In this video I walk through the mechanics for the Legend Mythic Path. Let me know down below if you have any questions. Thanks!

Pathfinder: WOTR is an isometric single-player role-playing story game currently in development by Russian studio Owlcat Games and published by Deep Silver, based on Paizo Publishing's Pathfinder franchise. Announced through a Kickstarter campaign in February 2020, the game will be released for PC, Microsoft Windows, and macOS on September 4, 2021. A console version for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series X Gameplay, PS5, PS5 Gameplay, Playstation 5, Playstation 5 Gameplay, will be released at a later date. The game is a sequel to Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

In WOTR the realm of Sarkoris was destroyed when Areelu Vorlesh opened a rift to the abyssal planes of existence, and hordes of demons invaded the world of Golarion. Led by the evil Demon Lords Deskari, Baphomet, and Nocticula, the abyssal forces crushed all who stood against them, turning Sarkoris into a demon‑infested land now known as the Worldwound. Join the Crusade against the demonic invasion and rise as a new hero wielding unimaginable powers in this classic CRPG. The fate of this world lies in your hands.

Pathfinder has dozens of classes and subclasses with thousands of abilities, feats, spells, talents, and buffs to choose from. The spell listing allows you to choose from Evocation (Damage Dealing), Enchantment (Crowd Control), Necromancy (Undead), Abjuration (Buffs), Illusion (Crowd Control), Divination (Buffs/Disruptor), and Conjuration (Summoning). This is combined with an insane amount of class/subclass options including Alchemist, Arcanist, Barbarian, Bard, Bloodrager, Cavalier, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Hunter, Inquisitor, Kineticist, Magus, Monk, Oracle, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Shaman, Skald, Slayer, Sorcerer, Warpriest, Witch, and Wizard! It is Owlcat's goal to give each of these classes at least 5 subclasses each!

Choose your Mythic Path and embody an Angel, Demon, merciless Lich, wily Trickster, superhero Azata, law incarnate Aeon, truly evil Swarm, merciful Gold Dragon, or forgo all of them to stand alone as a Legend. Each path will allow you to improve your hero in unique ways, adding a new layer to character development and making your hero and their allies a true match for their powerful enemies.

You will command the Fifth Crusade and govern the Crusade system. Lead your crusade during tactical combat battles in a turn based mode inspired by the Heroes of Might and Magic series. You will command armies, grant them powerful bonuses, and deploy rituals to succeed. As your generals levels up they will gain access to new buffs, spells, feats, talents, and abilities. Your chosen Mythic Path will also open up new options such as calling angels to your side and using zombies to attack your foes. Your units and how they gain power will also be guided by the decisions you make. From ruthless Hell Knights to benevolent priests you have a wide array of allies who will answer the call for battle.

There are more than a dozen potential party members in the game including Camellia (Half-Elf/Spirit Hunter), Seelah (Human/Paladin), Lann (Mongrel/Zen Archer), Ember (Elf/Stigmatized Witch), Arueshalae (Succubus/Espionage Expert), Woljif (Tiefling/Eldritch Scoundrel), Daeran (Aasimar/Oracle), Sosiel (Human/Cleric), Regil (Gnome/Hellknight), Wenduag (Mongrel/Fighter), Nenio (Kitsune/Scroll Savant), Greybor (Dwarf/Slayer). All of these companions have their own backgrounds, alignments, and motivations. All of them are fully voice acted with unique character models. There are even more followers that are locked behind specific story/mythic quest options!

Few notes:
- Once you complete the associated ‘Legend path’ quest, you will basically double your level and receive massive increased XP gain (ie. you will hit level 40 for sure).
- You will lose Mythic feats / abilities outside of your 1st and 2nd ranks.
- BAB increases, but your number of base attacks does not increase past 4.
- Power Attack will continue to scale.
- Sneak Attack die stacks.
- CL does not increase past 20, but spell penetration seemingly increases
- Your class saving throws will increase
- You will gain extra feats as part of leveling
- You will continue to gain Skill points

My idea for a build is go from a Demon Barbarian that discovered the Abyssal taint is for the weak and the real power lies in using drugs, so he either goes alchemist or mutagenic warrior.

You are correct legend is always a choice when you confirm your mythic path in act 5. Legend is what you get when you choose to reject the power given to from your previous choices therefore is not possible to miss.

Monkadin. 20/20 Monkadin. You’re MAD as all Hell, and damn near invincible. Saves in the 40s easily, AC 60+, Improved Evasion, Paladin spells, immune to basically everything, Flurry of Smites…

After picking the Legend path there's an immediate skill check to actually excise your Mythic Power with a DC that varies wildly depending on the choices you've made previously in the game, though I don't know what the exact penalties for failing are.

20 lvls in Paladin, 10 lvl in Fighter and 10 in Hellknight. With this you will have good combat feats 4 times Armor Training from 2 Fighter and 2 from Hellknight plus benefits of Paladin. You can also add points in Cleric instead fighter.

I stopped in Act 2 with my cavalier, storming Drezen, chased the balor off, but decided to hold off until the game is patched up a bit more. But still lovin' these videos, and plan on taking the Legend path for my Gendarme cavalier.

Well 2 ideas I got were a Master of the blade type of charachter( 20 level in magus sword saint + 10 duelist prestige class + 10 aldori swordlord prestige class).
The second is a Full power mystic theurge (15 in wizard or other arcane + 15 in cleric or other divine + 10 as mystic theurge for a caster class of 25 with 9th level spells in both divine and arcane magic)

My planned Legend Build: A truly viable Mystic Theurge. Between the retroactive level-up, and the +4 to all stats, I can easily see a build that casts 9th level spells in 2 classes without gimping yourself for half the game. Just dip in the 2nd class enough to unlock MT, then when you retro level, pile into that class. And you have all the spells. Plus the Abundant Casting Feats. The UI might not have enough slots for everything this could do. :P Given that in Kingmaker this was a trap Prestige Class, it'll be nice to redeem it.

As someone who just discovered pathfinder this week, I have been enjoying your content. Thank you.

It's a very complicated game, and while it seems easy to start; the learning curve and skill ceiling is quite high. I'll take all the help I can get in figuring it out.

I wonder how it interacts with pets. And what a maxed legendary leopard looks like.

I was thinking of doing a rowdy rogue archer 20, assassin 10, then 10 in another class to stack the sneak attack dice or martial class for archer feats

I tried out a Sword Saint 8/Duelist 8/Paladin 2/Scaled Fist 2/Slayer 4/Rest in Mutagen Warrior (which stacks with Sword Saint for Feats). My ac self buffed (with magic vestment helping) was over 100, had amazing saving throws, evasion and uncanny dodge, 2d6 sneak and 8 precise strike, great damage from piranha strike with 38 BAB, got Grand mutagen and a couple of feats to turn criticals into normal hits, three extra arcane pool so you have 11 instances of insightful strike for INT to AB, staggering critical and exhausting critical, fighter's tactics and all the teamwork feats. Important to pick enduring/greater enduring spells as your first two mythic feats so you don't lose them when you go legend. It is close to unkillable with very little weaknesses. Best race is the aasimar that gets bonuses to dex and cha. You get a dueling sword that gives you half your mobility as extra damage (on crit) and you can get your mobility to high 80's with this guy.

One combination I've thought of is the "Hulk" build where you have 20 levels of Alchemist and 20 levels of Bloodrager or Barbarian. With mutagen and rage you'll be running around with +16 strength and constitution.

Great video, I think 40 levels is probably stronger than 20 lvls and mytic path but only in theory, I thout about doing 20 lvls on a class + two prestige class or even doing a 20 20 barbarian fighter or something like that probably broken

I watched someone put 20 levels in warpriest then 20 levels in quarter staff monk.
Each swing of the staff was 8d8 damage.
DAMN!!!

I know it's a short and obvious answer, but, something with sneak attack is my go to answer. Sneak attack caps at half your level, as far as I know, but if your level 40, it caps at 20 instead of 10, and that's a LOT of damage. Something like knife master/vivisectionist would be my go to. Plus, super huge BAB means not missing much.

Aldori Defender 20 / Duelist 10 / Aldori Swordlord 10 sounds pretty amazing, at least thematically

Does that mean you can finally hit level 9 arcane spells for sorceror mystic theurge?
